For a birthday brunch, I knew I’d want to wear something flowy because I’d be consuming large amounts of mimosas and greasy breakfast dishes, so I opted for a 70s inspired shift dress. I’m a huge fan of faux fur vests, so I figured I’d go all in and top the dress off with one for a full 70s style look.
I’m a firm believer that fashion repeats itself. I have always wished I was born in the late 50s so I could have lived through the age of fringe vests, peace signs, and winged eyeliner, so I’m ecstatic to see that the 70s are back in and don’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. Suede, fringe, bell sleeves, and faux fur, I can’t get enough, but you probably shouldn’t pair all of them at once. In order to look like I wasn’t an extra in That 70’s Show, I topped this look off with an iconic trench and structured booties. If you happen to be at an H&M that still has these booties in store, I highly suggest snagging a pair because I’ve been wearing mine nonstop this season!
